Managing Partner

Gordon Lin

Gordon Lin is a managing partner at Libra Value Partners.  Gordon has valuation experience in various industries including pharma, technology, banking, real estate, insurance, manufacturing, media and entertainment, aerospace, and professional services. Gordon Lin has provided valuations of companies across all stages of development, and of various types of securities, including common and preferred equity, debt and convertible instruments, restricted securities, stock options, warrants, and other derivative instruments, as well as a variety of structured interests within private equity, hedge fund, and venture capital firms. Gordon has also served as an expert witness on various valuation matters.

Prior to joining Libra Value Partners, Gordon spent approximately 14 years at FMV Opinions (acquired by Stout Risius Ross) and Cabrillo Advisors, where he worked on valuation and transaction advisory assignments relating to corporate planning, estate planning, purchase price allocation, litigation support, financial reporting, restructuring, fairness opinions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Gordon received his Master of Business Administration degree from the USC Marshall School of Business, where he concentrated in financial analysis and valuation.  Gordon received his undergraduate degree in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine.  He was an executive at Cabrillo Broker and held FINRA Series 79, 7, 63, 66, and 24 licenses. Gordon is also an Accredited Member of the American Society of Appraisers and is currently a board member of the Asian Pacific CPA Association (APCPAA).
